Welcome to Here She Writes, a blog written and currated by yours truly, Tess Adele Toldhwoss.

I graduated from Sonoma State University in Spring of 2022 with my B.A. in Spanish. I also attained a minor in both Compuer Science and Chicano y Latino Studies. My time in undergrad served to sharpen my critical thinking skills and solidify my foundaion in Academia.

I am what you could call a Jill of all Trades. Sure, I haven't done everything, but I have experienced the Public, Private and Not For Profit sectors of the economy. I started my first job at the county fair and since I have worked at a tax office, fast food restaurant, Casino and a climate change non-profit. My greatest work experience is in the indoor rock climbing industry, but I have also worked as a Babysitter, Nanny, Animal Caretaker, Tutor and Educator. My diverse life experience is the fuel that I draw on when I craft my work.

Additionally, I have a passion for helping others and creating a better future for us and our planet. I love all things outdoors, reading and practicing yoga asanas. I am a sister, a partner and a dog mom.

Through publishing my writing here, I have the opportunity to convey my thoughts and perceptions of our ever-evolving world with others like yourself. I am eager to share my stories and experiences with you. Thank you for taking the time to read my writing and support my work.
